FROM THE TRAVELS OF JONATHAN FOSTER: A VISIT TO THE JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT EXHIBITION

In January, my wife Laurie and I took a long overdue vacation to London and Paris. Before we departed, I reached out to my friend and art expert Nancy Berman, Executive Director of the Philip and Muriel Berman Foundation, for cultural advice. After all, one needs somewhere to go between bouts of wine and cheese! Nancy came up with several museum recommendations, and we managed to make it to two; the Caravaggio Exhibit at Musee Jacquemart-Andre, and the Basquiat Exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton.
